I was one one the main designers and builders of this, the 2nd version of a 1928 Underwood Portable typewriter. This time it was not meant to be a temporary structure destined to be burned at the end of 2-weeks, but rather, a permanent installation in a private sculpture park. As such, it ended up being quite a different beast than the first version that was built for Burning Man 2015.
